What is video-conferencing?

Therapy can be provided anywhere your little person is comfortable, allowing you to avoid long travel times and waiting rooms. All you need is a device such as a laptop, iPad or phone. A secure link is emailed to you prior to the session – you simply click on the link.

A video conference involves live chatting and therapy. You will be provided with the same service you would receive in a clinical setting, all from the comfort of your own home… and with pets!

You will need to make contact to ensure that video conferencing is the right match for your family, but it can be a fun addition to therapy to support generalising of skills.

Funding for videoconference appointments is available under the NDIS, private funding, and some mental health plans.
